Coastal Survey
Our vessel has a coastal survey for all of New Zealand. We are available at short notice for all commercial work including crew transfers, photography, and support work, as well as being a water taxi to the Abel Tasman National Park, the Marlborough Sounds, and D'Urville Island directly from Port Nelson. Our skipper, Barry Bird, has a New Zealand offshore masters qualification and MEC6 qualification and Lynley Bird has a SRL 24m qualification. With a large fuel capacity, we are available in a variety of different locations for commercial work.
Filming & Crew Transport Services
The Galileo is an outstanding platform for ocean filming and documentaries all throughout New Zealand. Whether it be filming onboard or transport to a location, the Galileo can help you to get the best shots.
Water Taxi Services
Enjoy the convenience of travelling to the world famous Abel Tasman National Park, the Marlborough Sounds, or D'Urville Island directly from Port Nelson with Galileo Charters. We can drop you off at any of the many beautiful beaches after you marvel at the stunning scenery along the way.
